Get to know me…

I’m an entrepreneur with 2x exists (so far), lots of strikeouts, angel investor, former venture capitalist, and worked in Marketing at America Online.

I started my professional career at the edge of technology on the Internet in 1996 as the Founder/CEO of Worldwide Angler, Inc. Worldwide Angler became the #1 social networking and e-commerce site for sport fisherman on the Internet.  I bought the company back from the investors in 2001 and led it to a successful exit a decade later.

My career has taken me from working at America Online when it was the largest Internet company in the world, to working at two venture capital firms, starting a CRM company that turned into an intelligence platform backed by In-Q-Tel, to running a software engineering company serving the DOD and other USG customers(exit) to becoming the SVP of Operations for a bond management company managing over $700m in public bonds.

To keep busy while finding what’s next, I’m working on building the worlds best personal contacts manager called Trevally to fix a problem my wife and I have had that no one seems to have solved yet.

I live Half Moon Bay, CA with my wife and two dogs.

When not at the mic or keyboard you can find me riding my road bike zipping up and down the California coast 🚴‍♂️
